Jade Chlorella
Chlorella is a fresh water algae, and one of the oldest foods on the planet. Fossils exist of Chlorella Pyrensoidosa that are over 4 billion years old. Chlorella is extremely high in vitamins and minerals. It contains the full Vitamin B Complex, Vitamins E & C and has a wide range of minerals, including magnesium, potassium, iron and calcium. Chlorella has a tough outer shell, which is not digested by humans. The outer shell must be broken so that our digestive system can get to the important nutrients inside the chlorella cell. However the indigestible shell also has important health benefits because of its ability to bind toxic heavy metals, and chemicals and eliminate them via the bowel. It is great for anyone to take at any age, from infant to the elderly.
Whole Food
Chlorella is a perfect complement to the self-healing capabilities of the human body because it provides the necessary vitamins, minerals, enzymes and other nutrients required for optimal function. Whole foods nutrition is far from a new idea. There are many foods that have healing and preventative health qualities, but none possess a more powerful, wide-ranging and diverse group of nutrients as Chlorella. Protein Content
Chlorella is 60% protein by volume. This is one of the highest levels of protein available in plant form. For this reason chlorella should be supplemented in all vegetarians and vegans to ensure healthy protein levels. To ensure healthy blood sugar levels small amounts of protein should be consumed by everyone between meals. Due to chlorella's high protein content it is an excellent protein "snack" to help maintain healthy blood sugar control.
Chlorophyll Content
Chlorella has the highest amounts of chlorophyll of any known plant. Chlorophyll cells are nearly identical to hemoglobin (red blood cells) with one exception: Chlorophyll has a magnesium molecule at that center of it; hemoglobin has an iron molecule at the center of it. This is important because magnesium is essential for all muscular activity, especially heart function. Every time our heart beats, it is utilizing magnesium to do so. Chlorophyll has been used successfully in the treatment of cardiac hypertension. Chlorophyll is a superior cleanser of the bowel, kidneys, liver and bloodstream. Chlorophyll is effective against anemia and stimulates the production of red blood cells in the body. It also helps carry oxygen around the body and to the brain. This is why Chlorella is often referred to as "Brain Food".
Powerful Immune System Stimulant
Macrophages are a type of white blood cell that surround and digest foreign substances in the body. They also produce chemicals responsible for chemical destruction of foreign invaders as well as immune system signaling factors, which provide communication between the different cells of the immune system. They are active against cancer, bacteria, viruses, foreign proteins, and chemicals. If the circulating macrophages are in low numbers, are inactive or have limited functional capacity then the body will not be able to remove these harmful substances from the blood. This will cause the body to have multiple infections, increased toxicity, and increased mutagenic activity. Chlorella stimulates the activity of T-cells and macrophages by increasing interferon levels thus enhancing the immune system's ability to combat foreign invaders whether they are bacteria, viruses, chemicals, foreign proteins, or mutagenic cells.
Regeneration of the Bowel
Chlorella increase peristalsis in the bowel. Peristalsis is the muscular contraction of the walls of the intestine that helps carry waste material through the intestines. Chlorella modulates bowel transit time. This means it is as equally beneficial for someone with constipation as it is for someone with diarrhea. In the presence of the Lactobacillus species of bacteria, Chlorella will cause these beneficial bacteria to multiply at four times their normal rate. Chlorophyll is very soothing to an inflamed intestinal tract. This makes chlorella a tremendous benefit to patients suffering from Irritable Bowel as well as Crohns Disease.
Heavy Metal Chelator
Chlorella is comprised of a fibrous, indigestible outer shell (20%) and its inner nutrients (80%). It is the fibrous outer shell that has been proven to bind with heavy metals and other synthetic chemicals that have accumulated in our bodies. Cleansing of the blood and organs will begin immediately, but therapeutic effects are best when Chlorella is taken long term. Chlorella is a whole-food, not an extract or concentrate.
DNA/RNA Content
Chlorella is high in both RNA and DNA, which perform functions in building, and healing the human cell that are only beginning to be understood. The DNA and RNA content of Chlorella is many times higher than sardines, which are considered to be the food source with the second highest amounts of DNA and RNA. Without RNA and DNA, the human cell cannot be properly formed, nor can it divide properly. The DNA and RNA content of Chlorella gives Chlorella its tremendous capabilities in cellular regeneration and repair. Chlorella has been used effectively as a topical treatment for damaged tissue such as ulcerations.
Chlorella Alkalizes the Body
It is important that we maintain a balance body pH of ideally between 7.2-7.4, which is about neutral. Poor dietary decisions, chemical stimulation, structural stress, unresolved emotional issues, and spiritual instability cause our blood to become overly acidic. All diseases start, live and thrive in an acidic environment and do not live well in an alkaline environment. Alkalizing our system becomes our first defense to disease prevention. Chlorella is very alkalizing to our systems. It is the counter-balance to living in today's acidic world.
Chlorella Growth Factor (CGF)
Chlorella has the ability to quadruple in quantity every 20-24 hours, which no other plant or substance on earth can do. It is programmed into its very DNA structure to do so. It is the CGF that gives Chlorella its unsurpassed growth capabilities. The exact nature of CGF is still somewhat of a mystery to science. Oriental Medicine describes CGF as a jing enhancer. Jing is a deep essence felt when the kidney meridian qi, yin and/or yang is improved. Jing determines your vitality, longevity, and your ability to resist disease. Everyone has jing that we are born with, or "congenital jing". However, certain foods will nourish us with "acquired jing" thereby magnifying our congenital jing. Chlorella is exactly that type of food. CGF is the component of chlorella that causes it to replicate at an amazing rate, but when consumed by humans this same CGF speeds body repair and healing allowing the body to regenerate at a much faster rate than it would without chlorella supplementation.

Independently Tested by a Laboratory of the Japanese Ministry of Health
Our Chlorella is independently tested on an annual basis by a Laboratory of the Japanese Ministry of Health and is confirmed to be 76% to 79% digestible, the highest on the market.
In 1974 the Japanese Government was obliged to introduce quality standards to control the importation of Chlorella because of the disparity between grades and purity values. In 1995 our source became the only producer ever to be licensed to import and sell their products with an official health food recognition seal in Japan.
University Study
University Study proves the superiority of Jade Chlorella
In the manufacturing of our Chlorella, a complex separation system is used with micro-filter centrifuges allowing them to separate the cells without the use of chemicals.
Most brands claim to have broken the chlorella cell wall so the body can absorb its nutrients. Dr L. Lewis, Doctor of Physiology at Duke University in 1992, analyzed our Chlorella. Using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), two samples of Chlorella were examined, a competitor's brand and ours. Both were deemed to be free of contamination, however, our Chlorella was the only one to demonstrate that the cell wall had been broken in the SEM examination. The cell wall of our competitor's Chlorella had collapsed but remained unbroken and was only 40% digestible.
